UNICEF

UNICEF works in 190 countries and territories to save children's lives, to defend their rights, and to help them fulfil their potential, from early childhood through adolescence. And we never give up.

Save the Children

was established in the United Kingdom in 1919 in order to improve the lives of children through better education, health care, and economic opportunities, as well as providing emergency aid in natural disasters, war, and other conflicts.

PLAN International

PI is an independent development and humanitarian organisation which works in 71 countries across the world, in Africa, the Americas, and Asia to advance children’s rights and equality for girls. focuses on: Child protection, education, child participation, economic security, emergencies, health, reproductive health and rights, and water and sanitation.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay.

Pencils of Promise

PoP is a non-profit organization that builds schools and increases educational opportunities in the developing world. It is a charity organization with education programs in Laos, Guatemala and Ghana. As of January 2015, the charity has provided 24.3 million education hours. As of December 2016, the charity has served over 35,000 students and built 380 schools.

The International Committee of the Red Cross

ICRC is an impartial, neutral, and independent organization whose independently humanitarian mission is to protect the lives and dignity of victims of war and internal violence and to provide them with assistance." It also conducts and coordinates international relief and works to promote and strengthen international humanitarian law and universal humanitarian principles.

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Organization founded in 1949, is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to fighting blood cancer. The LLS's mission is: cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS funds blood cancer research around the world.

Human Rights Watch

HRW) is an international non-governmental organization, that conducts research and advocacyhuman rights. The group pressures some governments, policy makers and human rights abusers to denounce abuse and respect human rights, and the group often works on behalf of refugees, children, migrants and political prisoners.

CARE

It is one of the largest and oldest humanitarian aid organizations focused on fighting global poverty. CARE's programmes in the developing world address a broad range of topics including emergency response, food security, water and sanitation, economic development, climate change, agriculture, education, and health.

International Rescue Committee

IRC provides emergency aid and long-term assistance to refugees and those displaced by war, persecution, or natural disaster. The IRC is currently working in about 40 countries and 26 U.S. cities where it resettles refugees and helps them become self-sufficient. It focuses mainly on health, education, economic wellbeing, power, and safety.

Project HOPE

Project HOPE works to achieve sustainable advances in health care around the world by implementing health education programs and providing humanitarian assistance in areas of need. Project HOPE is unique among international organizations in that we have always worked across the health spectrum in a wide variety of settings, from the family and community levels to the tertiary care level.

OXFAM

Oxfam's programmes address the structural causes of poverty and related injustice. Oxfam's stated goal is to help people directly when local capacity is insufficient or inappropriate for Oxfam's purposes, and to assist in the development of structures which directly benefit people facing the realities of poverty and injustice.

Action Against Hunger

ACF is a global humanitarian organization which originated in France and is committed to ending world . The organization helps malnourished children and provides communities with access to safe water and sustainable solutions to hunger.

World Food Program

WFP is the food-assistance branch of the United Nations and the world's largest humanitarian organization addressing hunger and promoting food security. According to the WFP, it provides food assistance to an average of 91.4 million people in 83 countries each year.

Water.org

Water.org is an American nonprofit developmental aid organization resulting from the merger between H2O Africa. Its goal is to provide aid to regions of developing countries (such as Afghanistan, Ethiopia and Chad) that do not have access to safe drinking water and sanitation.

WWF Global

WWF is an international non-governmental organization founded in 1961, working in the field of the wilderness preservation, and the reduction of human impact on the environment. WWF aims to "stop the degradation of the planet's natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature.

PETA

 American animal rights organization.  Its slogan is "Animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, use for entertainment, or abuse in any other way."

ASPCA

Organization was founded on the belief that animals are entitled to kind and respectful treatment at the hands of humans and must be protected under the law. 

Oceana

An international organization focused solely on oceans, dedicated to achieving measurable change by conducting specific, science-based policy campaigns with fixed deadlines and articulated goals.
